Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary

This is a protected area located on the waters of Lake Victoria in the central part of Uganda, it was created to provide home for the orphaned and un cared Chimpanzees, currently over 49 chimpanzee primates are protected in this area. The best way of reaching this sanctuary is by use of a boat or private charter from either Kajjansi airstrip or Entebbe airport.
