The most attractive and famous thing in Kenya’s national parks is the great migration where Wildebeests and other animals migrate from Tanzania’s Park to Kenya’s Park. Wildebeests and other species migrate from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and this migration takes place during the months of July to late October of which it is the best period for Kenya to receive the highest number of tourists. Both Parks are conserved on the same ecosystem though are in different countries.

Serengeti National Park is on a large conservation area which stretches to the North in Kenya to form the Maasai Mara National Reserve thus both Parks can simply be called twin Parks since they are attached to each other and sometimes share the wildlife species such as; Wildebeests, Zebras, Topis, Thomson’s gazelles and many more. During the migration of Wildebeests, tourists in any of the two Parks will view a large number of Wildlife species especially the Maasai Mara National Reserve tourists since it is where the species will be heading to.

During this migration, almost two millions of the Wildebeests from Serengeti National Park cross to Maasai Mara National Reserve plus almost 250,000 Zebras, half a million of Thomson’s gazelles, almost 97,000 Topis and 18,000 elands thus increasing on the already high numbered species in the Park thus making the Park to be the most suitable Park in East Africa and also one of the best Africa-wide for wildlife safaris and tours.
