Are you looking for the Uganda wildlife photography experience in Uganda, travel with Nature Adventure Africa Safaris Limited, this company with its travel experts offers suitable 4×4 WD vehicles that are suitable for Uganda Photo Tours customized as the best experience.

Last year in January 2015, my friend Sam Clark leading to the African photography trips in Africa organized us a trip to Uganda and we had unforgettable 12 Days Uganda Passion Primate & Wildlife Safari, visiting most of the national parks of Uganda, she works with Moses as the ground handler in Uganda and he organized the very nice 4×4 jeep that made all our journey so amazing.

At first when Sam and Jackie, our guide Emma came to the airport to pick us I was so happy few we are traveling in such big comfortable car, and as I was taking photography expedition I enjoyed because of the enough space each of us had to take the photos from each side of the vehicle.

Our first night was in Kampala at Namirembe Guest House which is well situated at one of Kampala historical hills and your stay at this place while in your room you will have scenic view of Kampala city. On our next day early in morning we started our journey to Murchison Falls National Park, with the en-route visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and we experienced the Rhinos in foot and we had a clear view of the animals and took the best photographs and video.

Later we had our lunch at the Ziwa Rhino Restaurant  and Emma, gave us some time to relax after enjoying the experience and lunch, later we embarked the jeep and transferred into the park via the Budongo forest and reaching the southern banks of River Nile we took the ferry crossing towards the northern side and from here to our we took an evening photographic game drive and animals like giraffes, buffaloes, water and bush bucks, warthogs were spotted and what amused me most was the sunset downer and couple of photo images was taken and thanks to Emma, is so patient and later he drove us to Fort Murchison Camp for our dinner and overnight stay.

Later on the next day after our early morning cup of coffee, we took dawn game drive looking for more wildlife species and apart from Kidepo Valley National Park, in this park you will find herds of buffaloes and other wildlife species and with chance early enough you will spot the early morning riser animals like lions, leopards among others. The normal game drive takes 3 – 4 hours but for photography drives you can take long and we spent more time in some areas while taking various shoots of images and it was so amazing when we found 4 lions (2 males & 2 females) and we kept on following them along the road and very many photos were taken.

After the game drive we drove to the shores of the River Nile, taking our packed lunch as we were waiting for our private speed boat cruise along the shores of River Nile, thanks to our trip organizers who thought for this plan putting us in a special private boat that had enough room for us to take unforgettable wildlife and bird life photos. After the cruise we return to our lodge we en-route evening photographic game drive spotting more wildlife species.

After being filled with the experience traveled to Kibale Forest National Park via Masindi – Hoima road with lunch en-route and though this road is not so clear thanks to Emma for his great driving experience and the vehicle, and our stay was at Kibale Forest Camp and this is real Eco-friendly lodge that is situated in cool environment of nature. From Kibale forest there is the chimpanzee trekking and habituation and on our holiday we experienced the chimpanzee habituation and this activity we stayed with the primates fully day in the mist learning how the chimps eat, stay, leave, build and much more of their life of leaving in the habitant.

This experience starts from 6 am to 6 pm and you are required to go to the park headquarters early enough for briefing about the forest and primates and after walk into the jungle with your packed lunch, mineral water among other requirements that you may need while in the jungle. Pack your camera and spare battery, rain gears, walking shores, insect repellent, hut, sun screen, long sleeved trousers and shirts.

We traveled to Queen Elizabeth National Park and from this park we experienced the African wildlife game drive looking for the wildlife like buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, bush and water buck among others and later we stay at Bush Lodge, then the next day we enjoyed the boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel which connects the Ramsar Lake George into Lake Edward and on this channel bank you will have panoramic view of wildlife and bird life species along the shores of the bank.

From this park if you are lucky you will have to spot the African tree climbing lions in the branches of the fig trees and these can be spot at the ishasha southern sector at all times while on your way to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home to the mountain gorillas.

We much loved the gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi, and it is half day experience and we took a lot of photos and videos and for those willing to spend more time with the gorillas you can take the Gorilla Habituation Experience which is a 4 hours experience with gorillas and this cost $ 1500 USD for the permit compared to the gorilla trekking costing $ 600 USD.

But all in all we want to appreciate so much our trip organizers and what I noticed is that each national park of Uganda has a unique tourism product and I realized this while on our en-route stop over to the Lake Mburo National Park where we found the Zebras, Impalas & Elands that were not spotted anywhere in Uganda National Park.

Later the following day we returned back to Kampala for our last day at Namirembe Guest House and then we did our last shopping in Kampala local markets and transferred to the airport for our return flight back home. Therefore if you are looking for the best wildlife and primate photography I highly recommend Sam Clark Photography and Moses for the unforgettable great experience in Africa!
